Refund Policy

  1. Introduction

The International Aesthetic Board (IAB) is committed to maintaining transparency and fairness in all financial transactions.
This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds are granted for fees paid through IAB programs, E-Learning, EduHub memberships, and accreditation services available on www.iabcme.com.

By registering for an IAB course or service, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

  1. Scope of Policy

This policy applies to all payments made for:

  • CME/CPD-accredited programs, diplomas, and workshops
  • Board certifications and faculty registrations
  • Conferences, webinars, and bootcamps
  • Institutional or provider accreditation fees
  • Membership and renewal fees

Payments made through authorized IAB payment gateways, bank transfers, or institutional invoices are covered by this policy.

  1. Non-Refundable Fees

Certain fees are strictly non-refundable, including:

  • Application or registration fees.
  • Membership and renewal fees once activated.
  • Completed digital programs or issued CME/CPD certificates.
  • Administrative or processing charges.

These payments cover costs incurred during course preparation, accreditation verification, and digital access setup.

  1. Refundable Circumstances

Refunds may be approved under the following conditions:

  1. Program Cancellation by IAB

If a course, event, or program is cancelled by IAB before commencement, participants will receive a full refund of the paid amount or may request credit transfer toward another IAB program.

  1. Duplicate or Erroneous Payment

If a participant accidentally completes a duplicate payment, IAB will issue a 100 % refund for the duplicate transaction upon verification.

  1. Verified Technical Access Failure

If the participant is unable to access the purchased online program due to verified technical issues from IAB’s side and support cannot resolve it within five (5) business days, a partial or full refund will be considered.

  1. Exceptional Medical or Force-Majeure Circumstances

Participants may request a partial refund if they are unable to attend a program due to documented medical emergencies, natural disasters, or force-majeure events.
Official evidence must be submitted to finance@iabcme.com within 14 days of the scheduled start date.

  1. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund:

  1. Submit a written request to finance@iabcme.com with:
    • Full name and contact details.
    • Payment proof or transaction ID.
    • Program or service name.
    • Detailed reason for the refund request.
  2. The Finance Department will acknowledge receipt within 3 business days.
  3. Refund requests are reviewed by the IAB Finance & Compliance Committee within 10–14 business days.
  4. Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days after confirmation.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible.

  1. Partial Refunds and Credits

If a participant withdraws after course commencement but before completion:

  • A partial refund or credit may be granted depending on the percentage of program content accessed.
  • Alternatively, participants may transfer enrollment to a future session or another IAB program of equal value.

All partial refunds are subject to an administrative deduction of up to 20 % to cover operational costs.

  1. Refund Processing Time

Once approved, refunds are typically processed within:

  • 7–10 business days for credit/debit card or PayPal transactions.
  • 10–15 business days for international wire transfers.
  • Processing time may vary depending on the recipient bank.

IAB is not responsible for delays caused by intermediary banks or payment processors.

  1. Non-Attendance or No-Show Policy

No refunds or credits will be issued for:

  • Failure to attend live programs, bootcamps, or conferences without prior written notice.
  • Non-completion of digital courses or assessments after access has been granted.

Participants may request a reschedule or transfer to a later program, subject to availability.

  1. Currency and International Transactions

All fees are charged in the currency displayed on the program page, typically USD, AED, or GBP.
Exchange-rate variations, bank conversion fees, or transaction charges are the responsibility of the participant and are non-refundable.

  1. Disputed Charges

In the event of a payment dispute, participants must contact finance@iabcme.com before initiating a chargeback with their bank.
Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:

  • Suspension of membership and access to all IAB platforms.
  • Administrative fees to recover chargeback costs.
  1. Institutional and Partner Refunds

For educational partners, universities, or accredited providers, refund eligibility is governed by the terms specified in the Partnership or Accreditation Agreement signed with IAB.

Each institutional refund is evaluated individually by the IAB Academic Affairs Office.

  1. Policy on Promotional Offers

Promotional or discounted programs (including seasonal offers, bundle packages, or limited-time campaigns) are non-refundable unless cancelled by IAB.
Participants may, however, transfer promotional credit to another upcoming event within the same calendar year.

  1. Refund Decision Finality

All refund decisions made by the IAB Finance & Compliance Committee are considered final and binding.
IAB reserves the right to deny refund requests that do not meet the stated criteria.

  1. Policy Updates

IAB reserves the right to revise or amend this Refund Policy at any time to ensure compliance with global financial and educational regulations.
